The Cricket ringer service is run by a company called Ztango, with roots in the Northern European ringtone markets.

In order to get ringtones, you must first register to the Cricket ringer web site. You must be within the Cricket service area at this time, because you’ll receive a password to your phone in the process.

Once you’ve registered as a buyer, you may purchase the Cricket ringtones even while outside Cricket coverage area. You’ll get the ringtone in your phone when you re-enter coverage area up to 7 days from the order (the ringer is sent as a SMS (this is called Nokia Smart Messaging)).
